Reeya Banerjee is a musician, writer, and voiceover artist based in Whippany, NJ by way of New York’s Hudson Valley, Brooklyn, and Chattanooga. Her debut album The Way Up, co-written and produced by Luke Folger, was released on January 27, 2022. Her songs have been featured on The Local 518 Show at WEXT Radio, The Heavy Light Show at Radio Kingston, and NY Slice at WFUV Radio, as well as two episodes of the Women of Substance Music Podcast. Her voiceover work includes narrative marketing videos and online advertising for Beats by Dre and Yonder Agency. Her follow-up album This Place, also co-written and produced by Luke Folger, was recorded at Lorien Sound in Greenpoint and will be released in summer 2025.
Reeya’s writing has been published in Story Screen, the Peauxdunque Review, CurtCo Media’s A Moment of Your Time podcast, Fatal Flaw Literary Magazine, and The Vincent Brothers Review. She is a Pushcart Prize nominee for her work in Streetlight Magazine.
